One of the tenets of being an income hacker is focused action. Specifically focusing on actions and activities that move you towards creating more income.
As a solopreneur with limited time in the day, this can at times prove difficult. Sometimes there are just days when you are fighting fires. And those fires may have nothing to do with your business but are important too.
I had one of those days today. We are having some work done in our garden, and the builders managed to break the mains water pipe (twice) and cut the main power cable. And then there were the thousand interruptions to ask questions. As a result, I didn´t manage to create the new advert I planned to create today. Nor did I get a chance to finish my new product I have been working on as planned.
I have decided not to blame the builders. These things happen. And while I am taking responsibility for not completing my daily income hacking goals, I have decided to give myself a pass. Instead of beating myself up, or giving up completely, I tweaked one advert that will hopefully deliver some good results. So while I didn’t move forward as much as I could have, I at least moved forward a little bit.
And tomorrow, I will get back on to the income hacking horse with gusto. Tomorrow will be a great one, no excuses, just focused actions towards income goals.
